Established community members and students come together to discuss arts education in Santa Barbara in the yearly symposium. The initiative enables for the development of better future programs, explains Kenny Slaught. Other projects include providing instruments for students, sponsorships for art students and grants for programs that use the resources at the Santa Barbara Bowl. The organization also sponsors a program for children at Cottage Hospital, and in-school and after-school programs for those in the Santa Barbara Bowl region. The Notes for Notes initiative offers free music classes and instruments to students. The projects are all managed by a large group of volunteers.
